The lockdown is leaving many of us feeling trapped and frustrated with a thirst for connecting with others.
We might not be able to connect with others in person but it is very important that we are creative in finding other ways to connect with others. Connecting with others is extremely important for our wellbeing and our mental health journey.
I won't pretend that connecting over video calls and zoom has the same effect as connecting in person but it does help with alleviating some of the isolation we might be experiencing during the current times.
I also want to acknowledge the courage it takes sometimes to reach out to others when we are experiencing emotional challenges. When you pick up the phone and call someone you care about, you might be surprised that they might be experiencing the same challenges as you.
