Most of us only seek counselling after we become very emotionally challenged.
It is certainly advisable and important to seek support when we need it most.
But this is not the only time counselling can help us.
Counselling can guide us on our personal development journey.
Counselling can also act as a preventative to becoming unwell as well as maintain our wellbeing and prevent us from reaching extreme lows.
Counselling is part of my life routine. Just like I need to eat well to nourish my body and I do gentle exercise to maintain my overall wellbeing, I also attend counselling on a regular basis to maintain my mental health and achieve personal growth.
